Extract the zipped folder, open the terminal, go to the extracted folder and run "wmake".
Now you can go to you case folder and run "relU" (you will need an fvOptions file in your system folder). |

hi all,
I'm using OpenFOAM+ (version 1606+) for my studies. Is there a similar tool for OpenFoam+ to calculate the relative velocity in the MRF Zone or other possibilities to get the relative velocity? Thanks for your help Moritz |

Ok I think I was able to make it work. I used the Urel version for 2.2.x and changed the Urel.C file in line 85 from "mrfZone.relativeVelocity(Urel);" to "mrfZone.makeRelative(Urel);". I tried it for Openfoam v3.0+ and it seems to work there.
Greetings |
