case with cyclic boundary

Dear OF-users,

I want to compute the flow around a 5-blades propeller using the MRFSimpleFoam.

Pict1 shows the entire flow domain around a single blade. I want to use cyclic boundary conditions.

I have used icemcfd hexa to generated the structured mesh. Then I have used the fluent3DMeshToFoam command to convert the mesh.

Pict2 shows the outlet boundary.

Left and right sides of the flow domain have to be into a unique part or have to be 2 separate parts (icemcfd hexa) ?

How to be sure that the mesh was created correctly inside OpenFoam ?

Maybe there is a tutorial with cyclic boundary conditions ?

Regards,

Stephane.
