Surge tank emptying using interFoam- Stops when surface reaches outlet1 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I am a lil new to openFOAM. I am trying ti simulate the emptying process of a surge tank. Its like a tank with a atmospheric opening at top ant outlet at bottom. Its initially filled with water. Now I am using RANS kE model for simulation. It runs fien till the surface touches the outlet then it gives an error. I need your help.Hi.
I'm new to OpenFOAM and I met the same problem as you. Did you solve it? I use pimpleDyMFoam. Strangely, depending to the rotation speed, somtimes this error disappears in the same analysis model. |
