Frequency of vortex shedding

Hi everybody,
I'm modeling an oscillating cylinder with pimpleDyMFoam solver. For comparing with the results of others, I need to have frequency of vortex shedding. Does anybody know what we have to do to calculate this parameter in openFoam 1.6? Best regards, Rasoul |

Hi,
I am also simulating a similar case for my B.Tech Thesis. I am using OpenFOAM version2.1.0. I am using the openfoam201/tutorials/incompressible/pimpleDyMFoam/wingMotion/wingMotion2D_pimpleDyMFoam as my reference.
