Hello ppl,

I wanted to know how to write data at the last iteration before the calculation stops due to some error. So that i can see the details and find the error.
cheers

Hi Ramnik,

how should this work? The solver can't know if there will be an error in the next step!

But what you can do is wirting every time-step and setting "purgeWrite" in your controlDict to 1 (so the previous stored solution will be overwritten - otherwise you will get very much data). Of course this will very strongly slow down the solution. But maybe you can go step by step to the time when the error occurrs by reducing write interval and restarting from latest saving.

Regards,
Stefan
