hi
I wanted to solve a problem of a non-Newtonian fluid through an expansion of a 2D tube. I set a timeVaryingInletOutlet for velocity at the inlet and a time series for pressure at the outlet using timeVaryingFixedValue. viscosity model is BirdCarreau. I do not know what the problem is but the thing printed in the terminal is: Courant Number mean: 0 max: 0 DILUPBiCG: Solving for Ux, Initial residual = 1, Final residual = 6.02929e-07, No Iterations 19 DILUPBiCG: Solving for Uy, Initial residual = 0.999937, Final residual = 7.89022e-07, No Iterations 19 DICPCG: Solving for p, Initial residual = 1, Final residual = 4.95431e-07, No Iterations 210 #0 Foam::error:rintStack(Foam::Ostream&) in "/opt/openfoam170/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libOpenFOAM.so" #1 Foam::sigFpe::sigFpeHandler(int) in "/opt/openfoam170/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libOpenFOAM.so" #2 Uninterpreted: #3 Foam::fv::gaussGrad<double>::grad(Foam::GeometricF ield<double, Foam::fvsPatchField, Foam::surfaceMesh> const&) in "/opt/openfoam170/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libfiniteVolume.so" #4 Foam::fv::gaussGrad<double>::grad(Foam::GeometricF ield<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> const&) const in "/opt/openfoam170/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libfiniteVolume.so" #5 Foam::fv::correctedSnGrad<double>::correction(Foam ::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> const&) const in "/opt/openfoam170/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libfiniteVolume.so" #6 Foam::fv::gaussLaplacianScheme<double, double>::fvmLaplacian(Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvsPatchField, Foam::surfaceMesh> const&, Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh>&) in "/opt/openfoam170/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libfiniteVolume.so" #7 Foam::fv::laplacianScheme<double, double>::fvmLaplacian(Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> const&, Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh>&) in "/opt/openfoam170/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libfiniteVolume.so" #8 in "/opt/openfoam170/applications/bin/linuxGccDPOpt/nonNewtonianIcoFoam" #9 in "/opt/openfoam170/applications/bin/linuxGccDPOpt/nonNewtonianIcoFoam" #10 in "/opt/openfoam170/applications/bin/linuxGccDPOpt/nonNewtonianIcoFoam" #11 __libc_start_main in "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6" #12 in "/opt/openfoam170/applications/bin/linuxGccDPOpt/nonNewtonianIcoFoam" Floating point exception anyone knows how I can fix the problem? |

hi friend
first run ur solver with a simple model then add the complexity to it!!!!!! these error can be made with various kind of mistakes from BC to solver, so its ambiguous!!! |
