Hi, Is it possible to simulate single phase incompressible mixing of two fluids (liquid) with OpenFOAM? I assume the answer is yes but am not clear as to the correct solver and how to go about setting up the mixture in OF. My apologies if this is straightforward but I’ve not been able to find any examples on how to do this type of simulation. Any help or examples are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Am I to assume OpenFOAM cannot currently handle liquid mixtures?

Thank you. I appreciate the direction. Are you aware of any examples with this solver?

Here you should find an example: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...ixingfoam.html

Scroll down because the first files are old and do not run on 1.7.
