Turbulent thermal diffusivity
 

Hi,

does anyone know an equation/a way to initialize the turbulent thermal diffusivity (alphat)?

For example, if I want to initialize its value at the inlet of a pipe with a known velocity.

In other words, how to initialize the turbulent thermal diffusivity (alphat)?
Is there a straightforward way?

I don't know what application you are running, but fireFoam has a file named alphaSgs (turbulent thermal diffusivity) under directory 0 in smallPoolFire2D tutorial.

Maybe it fits your need.
