Implementing New Viscosity Models !

Hi Foamers,

I am trying to implement my new viscosity model, like those in:

$WM_PROJECT_DIR/src/transportModels/incompressible/viscosityModels/

I copied all the src folder to my $WM_PROJECT_USER_DIR

then i made wmake

but it didnot work, i had an error

So How to do that, what we really need to copy and change in order wmake will work ?

thanks

Hi T.D. again
How are you? I hope you are doing very well.
1. Don't copy whole of the src folder. Just copy your desired file.
2. See the users' guide pdf.
3.For compiling whole src in terminal change to src folder and type ./Allwmake
Good luck

More explanation please

Hi ata, thank you so much for your great help
you are really a great co operative person thank you so much

but can you explain me more please please because i tried all, and in user guide i couldn't find it.

1-what to copy? it is not a file, it should be a folder?, like crosspowerlaw
and if i copied it from the main directory of openfoam, where to paste it in the User directory?
since i have OpenFoam in the root (WM_PROJECT_DIR) and my own directory (WM_PROJECT_USER_DIR), i hope you understood me?

2-then for ./Allwmake where to run and do that in which directory? is it the main (WM_PROJECT_DIR)?

3-What about Calculated boundary conditions? If you look to my previous model syntax i sent to you, you see the term "J" and the field "c".
What if i need to apply a BC to a patch in "c" but that depends on "J", for example i want to set J=0 in the patch BC of "c" field.

Thanks a lot my brother

yours,
T.D.

Hi T.D.
Excuse me I'm little busy.
1. For simplicity copy the folder beside the main.
2. In terminal go to the desired folder and type wmake.
3. I don't know.
Best regards

Ata
