Hey there Foamers. I have a quad core cpu machine at home and have done many parallel simulations using the mpirun command for OpenFOAM and I curious to know how does the code take care of the message passing interface (mpi) between the 4 cores. I ask this because, when I compiled the code, I did not compile it with an mpi compiler. So, how does OpenFOAM take care of the mpi during the parallel computation?
