Hi all,
I used simpleFoam to simulate the flow around a NACA0012 airfoil in the stall/post-stall region using the k-omega turbulence model. Even-tough I managed to get pretty good results I was wondering if there was a sens to use a 'steady' solver to simulate a flow that is "by nature" unsteady. In fact in the post-stall region I observe vortex shedding from boundary layer separation but I can not understand how simpleFoam can capture that.... ![]() Thanks for your help and enjoy your week-end!
