Hello all,

I'm about to begin a study on compressible reacting flows that will be applied to rocket engine injectors (very high reynolds numbers, high compressibility, transient, etc) and was wondering the abilities or limitations of the rhoReactingFoam solver? I am unfamiliar with these types of simulations so any help would be great. I have read a few publications regarding compressible reacting flows where the authors utilized what was called a loci/CHEM code (http://www.tetraresearch.com/loci_chem.html) but I'm not sure how easy this would be to get access to and use relatively easily. I am going to contact the folks on that site I linked to but it would be great if I could use a built-in solver in OF.

Any help would be very much appreciated!
