interDyMFoam - One rigid body, multiple boundaries
Hi All,
I am working on a problem where I would like to use interDyMFoam for mesh deformation using the sixDoFRigidBodyDisplacement boundary condition for the boundary point displacements, however there is one caveat. There are additional boundaries that I would like to move with the same rigid body motion. I would like to not calculate the forces on these secondary faces. In addition, these other boundaries are of a different type (i.e. not walls). Is this possible without major modifications to the source code? I'm currently using OF2.0. To clarify, consider a rigid body whose boundary is represented with two separate adjoining boundaries: -boundary 1 (no-slip wall) -boundary 2 (pressure inlet) Is it possible to use interDyMFoam to model the motion of this body where the motion is calculated based on the forces on boundary 1 only but boundary 2 just moves with the same rigid body motion? Thanks, I'd appreciate all the help I can get. -Matt |
