to print residual or in a file...
 

Hi community,

does anyone know how is possible to print the residual (i mean the one computed in simpleFoam, for example) in a file in the way to plot it and see how it develops during time?

Or maybe, that will be better, there is a way to compute the norms...I mean:

norm=(mag(U2)-mag(U1))/(t2-t1)

where 1 and 2 stand for two different choosen times...

Thank you for the answer, and i am sorry if i crossed with other thread...

The PyFoam is very usefull even if i got problem running it...By the way I want to ask if there is a way to compute the mag(U) residual...?

And how exactly the residual is computed?...if you can suggest me where to have a look could be great...
