Default decomposeParDict errors when deleted

I'm not running my case in parallel, why does my meshing crash when I erased the file?

Don't know why but sHM checks that file anyway so you need to leave that where it is.

FOAM exiting

This is mine, that is what you get when you do not have any decomposeParDict within you system folder.

could this in any way be related to my other post where I stated that you cannot have more than two SHM instances running at the same time?

This is just because snappyHexMesh meshes on multiple processors/cores.

No. Solvers and other utilities in general do not require a decomposeParDict.
