Dear all
Is there any chance to average certain time step parameters in paraview ?
for example can velocity be averaged over a few time steps? if so how is it possible ?

Regards

I don't know the answer, but had a similar question. Is there a way to automatically interpolate transient results for animation in paraview? (ie if you had results for every 5 seconds and wanted the image to interpolate between them)

Try Filters->Temporal->Temporal Interpolator (it may crash paraview if your mesh is moving though).

Thanks, looks like Filters->Temporal->Temporal Statistics should handle the average as well as max and min

Does anyone know how to do this from the command line? And write the results to a file? That would be amazing! It takes sooo long otherwise.
