Hi,

I would like to perform validation of spray-A and spray-H experiments performed by Sandia labs.

I would like to know how to find out the initial size distribution of the droplets to be injected.

Is this quantity measured or do I have to use primary break up models. If anyone has performed CFD validation of these experiments.

Thanks

Howdy!

You might want to take a look at some of the proceedings from the 2014 SAE world congress which was last week. There were many talks concerning modeling of the Sandia baseline sprays which might be relevant to you.

Cheers,
Kyle
