Choni is on a distinguished road
I'm solving the stationary non-compressible task so I use simpleFoam and compare the results with the experiment data. The number of Reynolds in my problem shows that a flow is a laminar. But, my pressure values are on average 65% of what they should be. So, I want to try the turbulence model. I have a question: is it correct to use the turbulence model, if the viscosity shows that flow is a laminar?

And can you please advise where I can find simple/simplified explanations/discussions of RAS and LES models?
