Hello everyone,
I am currently running the validation cases of OpenFOAM and one of them is giving me errors. I am running on OpenFOAM v2312. First of all, I am doing this one : https://doc.openfoam.com/2312/exampl...lent/naca0012/ I tried to have the same pressure coefficient graphs as on the OpenFOAM site. I succeeded for the 0° angle but I don't have the same results for the 10° and 15° angles. You can see my result and the website for the 10° angle. As for the case setup, I followed what is posted on the site. Has anyone ever encountered this kind of problem with this case? Thanks |

What geometry did you use? Was the trailing edge sharp or rounded?

Hi,
I used one from the NASA website : https://turbmodels.larc.nasa.gov/naca0012_grids.html. It's this one : (3-D) 2 x 897 x 257 (2 x 513 points on airfoil surface) (gzipped). As for the trailing edge, it is sharp. You can see a screeshot attached. |
