I don't want openFoam to gzip certain outputs

is there a way to tell it to to that, mainly interested in doing it for the ptot utility? I didn't see this option available as a command argument

Hi Mihai,

If you only want it done for one application, namely ptot, then you can modify the respective option in "controlDict" before running ptot and then turn compression back on after running it.

As for modifying for a specific field in an already existing solver... I'm not familiar with such an option. Perhaps if the solver is modified a bit and rebuilt!?

Best regards,
Bruno
