Hi Foamers!

I am interested in LES modeling of free surface flows as part of my research and would like to know if any one has attempted LES with waveFoam for the standard benchmark experiments like the Ting & Kirby (1994) 1:35 beach case or any of the other experiments in Dr. Jacobsen's PhD thesis. If yes can you give me some information on the dificulties that you might have faced, eg., computational requirements, stringency of the grid aspect ratio at the free surface and/or breaker location, comparative performances of the LES models, influence of wall functions etc.

Thanks a lot for your inputs in advance. Cheers.
