Greetings,

I'm using OF 2.1.1. From previous trends, I've learnt that p_rgh was newly introduced from OF 1.7 and pressure was modified and computed as p_rgh = p - rho*gh in a number of OF solvers including interFoam. I'm using interFoam for my case and I need pressure gradient to cause air bubble rise in a liquid. How do I include this rho*gh to my simulation. I tried using some BC, but no success for now. Without this gradient, my bubble just free falls.Do I need to modify the solver? Is there another easier way using BC? Anticipating your reply. Thank you.

All right, problem fixed. And p_rgh in OF 2.1.1 is not a problem (atleaast not for the case I run) and it does not impede buoyancy either.

akidess will become famous soon enough
It is likely that at some point in the future, someone will find this thread and get angry at you for not explaining how you fixed your problem

Sorry to take your time, it was my fault. I unknowingly inserted liquid inside my bubble and air as the surrounding. Of course, it should sink irrespective of the buoyancy.
