How to sample a cut in domain which respects boundary conditions

Hi everyone,
After running a laminar, axisymmetric, case in OF2.1.0 I run into the following problem: I am extracting pressure and velocity in a slice through an axisymmetric domain sampling a steady solution after it finished and not getting what I expected. Mainly, this procedure either doesn't extract the field values at each boundary, for example Ux=Uy=Uz=0 at Wall, or it just extrapolates some value at the boundary without paying attention to the type of boundary it is. If I transform the solution to FLUENT, and extract from there the same slice, I get the field values I should expect at boundaries. I would like to avoid going through FLUENT every time. Thanks! |
