hello guys,

I am using OpenFoam-2.3.1, and I need to calculate the mass flow rate at inlet and outlet. Please can anybody explain how to do that and to insert the code in control dict.

Thank you
Bharadwaj

You may use the patchAverage or patchIntegrate post processing tools for that.

I don't have much experience with compressible media. But you should get the velocity components and the mass density, from which you may calculate the mass flow rate.

Hello,

It depends on which solver you are using. Check for dimensions of phi in the file.
