How to simulate an aerator

Which is the best way to simulate a simple faucet aerator ?
It seems a "simple" two fluids problem but i'd like to have an opinion from you. Better a VOF solver like interfoam (don't think so) or the dispersed phase approach like twoPhaseEulerFoam ? Thanks.
