Dear all,
I have a project of designing a swirl injector for liquid fuel and I have to simulated it by OpenFOAM. my case is 3D, turbulent, compressible. But I do not how to start? which solver is better for my case? which turbulent model is better? can I use VOF technique or not?. Do I have to draw the geometry of the injector or I can just use a specific equation regarding to all the injector variables like diameter, length, swirl no. swirl angle, etc. and implement just this equation with the combustion geometry as a boundary condition for the swirl geometry. Please, any one could help me, any ideas or thoughts because I am new in openfoam. please... atheel jameel ![]() |

Hi,
I want to model small pool fire 2d case with methanol. for study state flame propagation I want to implement interface boundary condition with 1. conduction by flame = latent heat* velocity 2.stefan boundary condition with velovity == diffusion*mass fraction grad/1-mass fraction. 3.Clausius-Clapeyron equation. Can any body help how should I proceed ????????????????????? |
