How can model a real gas(not a perfect gas?)

Hi
how can find out that perfect gas model is appropriate for one flow simulation
in the range of p and T after simulating by perfect gas?
is there a utility for calculating Z(compressibility factor) to figure out it?
is there any real gas thermoPhysical model in OF at all?what formula it uses?
which tutorial is there for this purpose?

Greetings to all!

@Ehsan: If you still have got OpenFOAM 1.6-ext from the other installation you tried to make about a month or so ago, then you don't need to download anything, you only need to follow these steps:

Go into the folder where the source code for 1.6-ext is located:
Code:
```
cd ~/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6-ext
```

Run the following command:

Code:

git checkout feature/fullyIntegratedRealGasThermo

Then you'll need to rebuild OpenFOAM 1.6-ext... but that depends on how you are keeping the versions separated. If you don't remember what I mean, read this blog post: Advanced tips for working with the OpenFOAM shell environment

the second command gives this error in git:

Hi,

the git repo for OF ext has been changed. Use the following line to download OF ext
git clone git://openfoam-extend.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/openfoam-extend/openfoam-extend OpenFOAM-1.6-ext
Don't forget to change the branch as stated above
