Dear all:

I am running sloshingtank2d with discrete displacement data. OpenFOAM nicely shows the sloshing phenonmenon due to the input data. However, I am interested in trying to figure out how long after the input has stopped, will the sloshing continue and finally dissipate? I added 100 data points of zero displacement to the end of the displacement input file, but OpenFOAM continues repeat the sloshing. This is not correct. Assuming that the friction between the fluid and the tank wall will dissipate the sloshing, how can I introduce some friction so that the sloshing is more realistic and will eventually die out?

I look forward to your comments / thoughts on this.

Thankyou in advance.
