Hi people,

I'm a engineering student in Italy and I'm working on my thesis that treat the validation of BuoyantBoussPimpleFoam solver.

Is there any paper, thesis, document, article .... where it's explained how OF works (also in general if not with this solver) ?
In my thesis I have to explain the algorithm, governing equations, turbulence model, etc.

Thanks.
Luca

Hey Luca, did you use the search function?

https://www.google.nl/search?q=openf...hannel=suggest

If you need more information, can you please outline why the existing threads are not sufficient?

Dear Akidess,

it's not sufficient because I don't need tutorials or example of simulations.
I have to explain how OF works before to explain my case .... the algorithm, the discretization, the "structure" ... I could write it by myself but for be quickly I wanted find some references.

Thanks.

If you google for openfoam and master or PhD thesis you will find a lot of documents which all include some explanation of OpenFOAM, e.g. http://www.foamcfd.org/resources/theses.html
