Evaporation Model

Hi!

I am working on the Fuel Injection Model of Diesel Engine and I have some problem related to Evaporation of Urea and Water. I am using Open Foam 2.1.

I am using "LiquidEvaporation Model" for Water and for Urea i am using "SingleKineticRateDevolatilisation Model".

Is these two models are good Enough for Evaporation or is there any other Model better then that which i can use.

I have written it now already several times here in the forums:
The evaporation model in the lagrangian libraries of versions 2.0.x to 2.2.2 has serious flaws/bugs, which affect simulations with the sprayFoam solver (and possibly others) strongly.
Only the git branch of 2.2.x has all bug fixes included. Also version 2.3.0 should work fine as it also has all bug fixes included (though I haven't tested version 2.3.0 yet).

My advise: Switch to OpenFOAM 2.3.0 (or at least 2.2.x) and see if you still have problems.

Just to mention it: The dieselFoam solver in OF versions 2.0.x and earlier is working correctly.

And read this thread very carefully:

Hay Armin,

Thanks for reply and the link you post. I am now doing some work with OpenFOAM 2.3.0 as (2.2.0 is not stable) and there is also some problem its not working properly with both Models. I will run that program again and post that problem and the details and then you can see and maybe you can correct me or help me in solving that problem. And i mention the details of my Model in other post but later i will post them here too with the error so that you can see.
