SilenceAndI is on a distinguished road
Greetings Community,

I currently try to install OpenFOAM 4.1 and CFDEM using the following two tutorials:
http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...CentOS_SL_RHEL

https://www.cfdem.com/media/CFDEM/do...anual.html#id2

I could more or less successful install OpenFOAM-4.1, means I still receive an error message, but it seem to work: log.make.txt (icoFoam works at least, also all tests completed successful as far as i can tell)

The error says:

Code:
/local/name123/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-4.1/platforms/linux64/gcc-4.8.5/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.8.5/../../../../x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/ld: error in /local/name123/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-4.1/platforms/linux64GccDPInt64Opt/lib/libOSspecific.o(.eh_frame); no .eh_frame_hdr table will be created.
I opened a thread at the CFDEM/LIGGGHTS Community about the problem with the second installation guide directly conquering CFDEM/LIGGGHTS too, because it isn't directly related to OpenFOAM. https://www.cfdem.com/forums/install...m-and-liggghts
I will keep this thread updated about changes to my CFDEM/LIGGGHTS Problem.

Still I am very interested to hear from you about the error in my OpenFOAM installation and how it could probably effect the Framework from working properly. (I have zero experience with OpenFoam yet)

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

PS.: Please move to OpenFOAM Installation - I totally missed that and don't see how I can do it myself.
