Hello, I am trying to set up run-time sampling along a curve in my controlDict but am having difficulties. I'd like to sample velocity data at a certain radial distance from the center of an annular region, so essentially along a circular line. However I haven't been able to find an easy way to do this!
I've used individual 'probes' previously and had no issues sampling data that way, but I'd really like to avoid having to use a cloud of probes, just due to the amount of individual points I'd have to specify! I also have sampled data along a line, but this has only worked for me in the standard xyz coordinates. I haven't seen a way to sample a line in radial/cylindrical coordinates. Is there a simple way of doing this which I've overlooked? Thank you! |
