Hello, guys, my objective is to calculate 2D laminar premixed flame with reduced chemical kinetics. So I want to implement a DNS solver that can handle this problem. Then I compare two solvers dnsFoam and reacingFoam. I think if I set a case without turbulent model and calculate it using reacingFoam with laminar is selected in turbulent model. Then I am using DNS method to calculate the flow and reaction. Only problem is that there are not any high order numerical schemes. Am I right?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you very much.

How is everything going on?
It seems that schemes do not matter if you have enough gird resolution.
And the LES solver can automatically become a DNS solver, given enough resolution in space and time.
