Mine was in Wikipedia.

Several weeks of ugly fighting over the content, it was proven that those two have been using sockpuppetry for purposes of deception, for which Wikipedia community has zero mercy.

As a result, the accounts of them were indefinitely banned from Wikipedia in all languages.

Despite this, they are still not guilty legally, and unfortunately, most of the time, this is the key element that matters.
