Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to fix a flow rate with a cyclic BC.
My goal is to have a fully developed flow on all the pipe (= without an entrance region).
I use OpenFoam 2.2.2

Thank you

Hi Marc-Aurele,

you can go to through this document https://web.stanford.edu/~csoulain/PORE_SCALE/Chap2.pdf from page 11 to 13. The idea is to add an average pressure drop as a source term in your momentum equation. The pressure you solve is then the deviation to the average pressure. Hence, you can consider cyclic condition to the "pressure" field.

Cheers,
Cyprien
