Hi everyone,

I put together a small post processing utility to calculate the mixture fraction based on Bilger's formula.

This should work on version 3.0.x, and on any case set up with reactingFoam.

The mixtureFractionDict file needs to go in the constant directory of the case.
The compositions of the fuel and oxidizer streams need to be provided in this file.

Hope you guys find this useful. Also, please let me know if you encounter bugs or anything. Thanks.

Adhiraj.

I believe it works.

I have not worked on this for a while.

Why don't you try it and report back?

Sure I will try it and feedback,
Now I'm waiting for my simulations to get their end after that I will try it

Hi adhiraj,
you can help me with an explanation of how I can implement this in my simulation.
I have simulated with reactingfoam the case of the DLR flame in openfoam tutorial, I would like to get some temperature graphs vs the mixture fraction.
I'm new to the openfoam environment.
thank you so much

Are you able to use the utility to calculate the mixture fraction?
