Field average -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

pappo1890 New Member Alessandro Join Date: Jul 2016 Posts: 11 Rep Power: 9	Hello to everyone, Today I am going to write you because of problems regarding to field averages. I run my simulation in turbulent regime without doing average field until a certain time ( the time where it can be assumed that convergence is reached). After that time the solver starts to do the average of the variables but does not save anymore the local variables (p. U etc). This not only would be a problem during the post processing but It denies to restart the simulation from a previous time step as pressure field is needed. Does someone know which setting should I change? Regards Pappo
