Dear Foamers,

Maybe my question is stupid, but I need to ask it.
Does anyone know how we can plot point motion (displacement and rotation) for a specific point as a function of time in the paraview?

With kind regards,
Rasoul

hi rasoul
yep its possible, select the point, use integrate variable then choose filters -> data analysis -> plot selection over time

Hi Nima and thanks for your response,
I selected the point by "Select Points on" bottom.
Then used filters -->integrate variable
now, properties for the selected point become available at integrate variable window.
Selecting filters --> plot selection over time,
Unfortunately paraview crashes after some selecting "Apply" bottom.

Do you have any idea?

do u use just one point?
if not and u have several points from integrate variable table , choose only one point then draw it by "plot selection over time"

Hello,

I am trying to validate a FSI solver on foam-extend-3.2 using the Turek & Hron Test case. I want to plot the displacement of the tip of the plate over time.

Can you please help me in this endeavour?

Thank you
