who can tell me "AMI or Cyclic ?"
 

I wanna make 2D or 3D VAWT mesh. For making mesh, i must know about AMI, cyclic.

but I can catch the easy case of AMI. even tutorial in openFOAM, it makes me exhaust... so hard.

I know AMI is so hard. but can i get the easy example AMI for PDF?

and i wanna know how to make AMI. i already saw type of AMI "boundary" in constant/PolyMesh. but i don't know how to make it and its algorithm (nFaces, startfaces,transform.. etc)

AMI is not hard to set up. You just have to build a patch, make baffles and define them as AMI (within the bafflesDict). If you need an example, check out the tutorials or try to use some tutorials that I made: http://www.holzmann-cfd.de/index.php...ving-rotor-ami

but what I want is more detail and easy example and meshed by salome... (etc . how to make AMI PATCH, what face is selected for AMI ..) and step by step example to make mesh finally
