Hello Folks,
Can someone suggest me a paper/article or a case to start understanding and programming mesh morphing with OpenFOAM? I create my own adjoint solver and i want to modify the mesh according the sensitivity i calculated. I'm working on an internal flow in a duct. Thanks for help |

Hey,
you can use the tool moveDynamicMesh, by providing a dynamicMeshDict and a pointDisplacement file with the displacementLaplacian motionSolver selected. Have a look at this site for more details: https://www.cfdsupport.com/OpenFOAM-...t/node152.html Of course there are much more sophisticated methods than the laplacian solver, such as RBF, but this should give you a good start! |
