Difference between Fan and fanPressure bc in openfoam

What is the difference between fan and fanPressure bc in openfoam ?

And what are the disadvantages and advantages of both ?

and here follows a link to a thread I never solved. It's about applying fanPressureBC at outlet, but it seems it doesn't work properly...at least with OF4.x.
