Question Velocity in interFoam

Query, the velocity indicated in the boundary conditions in interfoam is the average Reynolds component or is the instantaneous velocity?.

Hi,

depend. If you use LAMINAR mode, it is the direct velocity. If you use RANS, it is the reynolds averaged one (like all other quantities too).
