Hey,
I am new to openFoam and CFD!
I am trying to simulate flow past a square cylinder with internal heat generation inside the square cylinder. Can someone suggest which solver will be ideal for my case. Also, If I do it using icoFoam how to implement heat generation in it.

Hi and welcome!

There are many different solvers that you can use and they are all depending on what type of problem you are solving.
Just by searching on google for 2sec I found this document. It should point you to the right solver for your case.
