Hello Foamers!
I have incorporated y+ calculations in my code (following a similar procedure as in http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur..._Xu_Report.pdf ). However, this calculates y+ only in cells near the boundary of a wall patch. I would like to calculate y+ values in cells that are, say 4-5 layers from the wall patch. Could someone help me out with this? Thanks |

Hi raptorishungry,
I have myself implemented functionObjects which calculate uStar on the wall patch, and uPlus and yPlus in the whole field on this thread. However, uPlus and yPlus use the average uStar on the wall, and should be using the value on nearest patch face. If you have any idea on this topic this would be welcome
