laminar diffusion flame

hello guys !
I am new to Openfoam software and for my studies I need to model laminar diffusion flame.
the flame created by a burner with 2 pipes:
1. internal- gas flow.
2.external- air flow.

any suggestions for particular tutorial or model that can help me with this csae will gladly exepted!
appreciate a lot your help, thank you !

The smallPoolFire3D tutorial is likely a good place to start. It uses an sgs model, but the variant I use for personal testing that is similar to the tutorial ends up quite laminar.

axisymmetric model

hi Caelan,

my teacher told me the flame we need to model is axisymmetric so 2D model will be enough.

he recommend to do that in 2 ways:

1. change smallpoolfire2D from turbulence to laminar mode.
2. change the location of the gas,air inlet in counterFlowFlame2D tutorial.

any suggestions ?

thanks for the help !

It sounds like your professor gave you some good starting points. Good luck!
