I am just 2-days old to OpenFOAM, so forgive me if I am not adhering to the rules.

I want to know if any of the compressible solvers of OpenFOAM could be used for wind-driven turbulence modelling of oceanic flows. The channel could be stratified in temperature and periodically forced by winds.

I had to ask it in the forum as the user guide does not explicitly say so, and simply Googling did not help.

Thank you
