Is it reasonable to use gradient limiter on pressure gradient?

Should I limit the pressure gradient when doing steady incompressible simulation with low-quality volume mesh?In other words, can I set the default gradient scheme as

gradSchemes
{
default cellLimited Gauss linear 1;
}
?

In this page, https://bugs.openfoam.org/view.php?id=1410#c3246, Henry suggested that the pressure gradient should NEVER be limited. But I am not sure the reason behind it.

anyone has any comments about why not to limit pressure gradient?

I don't see any reason for limiting the pressure gradient for steady state simulations. Especially if we use SIMPLE algorithm. The topic Henry is talking about was multiphase flows and transient ones (if I got it correctly). But I could not give you an answer to this one.
