Hi everyone,
I want to share my finding: Adaptive mesh refinement (compressibleInterDyMFoam) doesn't work when the mesh was created including stitchMesh. Holds for foam-extend-4.0, foam-extend-4.1, OpenFOAM-7 Best regards |

Hi!
Can you share a case for that? Or you could create a bug report. But it should be ok. Since adaptive refinement is only works on pure hex cells, or polyhedron with history (from snappy for example). And just skip the other type cells... |

Hi!
Yes here is. However, with the native foam-extend-4.1, compressibleInterDyMFoam, I get floatingPointExceptions when solving the p-eqn. With my highly modified version, it "worked". So stitchMesh is a secondary issue. Couldn't get compressibleInterFoam to run with the sample_case, maybe you do. |
