Hello everyone,
I was trying to install swak4foam in openfoam. Currently i have the openfoam-dev version installed. Later after Google searching and from cfd-online i felt that in only certain specific versions of openfoam, different versions of swak4foam can be installed without the compilation errors. I also found that openfoam v1912 from ESI may have in-built swak4foam into it. But still searching for it, i could locate any resources online that says so about it. So, i was wondering if you could provide suggestions for installing swak4foam and pyfoam in the most suitable version of openfoam.

Thank you for your time.

Yes... I did look at those web pages. I found that foamextend 4.0 goes well with swak4foam. But in one of the cfd-online threads, i saw that there might be some convergence issues with foamextend versions. So...i was curious if openfoam v7 or openfoam v1912...or other any other version was more stable and easy to work with swak4foam.

Anyways thanks for replying.

The last release of swak4Foam (from the beginning of June) was tested with OF 7, v1912 and 4.1 and works with all of those (not all Example cases run on all of those. Check the Documentation/examplesCompatibilityMatrix.org that comes with the sources)
