Ablation with moving mesh

Hello!
I solve the problem of burning a solid surface. I need to add a moving boundary in order to implement burning (ablation). Namely, I would like the top layer of mesh cells to be compressed to a certain prescribed value, and then this layer will be disconnected from the solution. In addition, the rate of decrease in cell thickness (compression) should depend on the temperature in these cells. All I found on this forum and in general in Internet resources is that there is a Layer Additional Removal function that seems to implement the desired mesh movement mechanism. But I did not find a single example where there would be a description of this solver setting and which I could take as a basis.
Dear colleagues, did anyone encounter a similar problem, or maybe someone can give a hint on similar solver settings for a moving mesh?

Thanks! :)
